In a 2020 University Students (Brand) Perception Survey conducted by University News Network (UNN), Editage (34.7%) won the first place in the category of “Manuscript Editing/Translation Service.” This category has been introduced this year.
Editage is the flagship brand of Cactus Communications, a technology company accelerating scientific advancement. Editage not only provides under- and postgraduates with manuscript editing/translation services but also webinars, workshops on international journal submission strategy, English manuscript writing workshops, and monthly online lectures.
Basil D’souza, President, Editage (South Korea), explains why Editage is a preferred brand among university students. “More and more people are relying on digital marketing to promote research. As a result, under- and postgraduates are being exposed to the international academic manuscript editing/translation market and are understanding its importance. In fact, undergraduates are starting to participate more actively in academic manuscript writing from the time they are undergrads,” he says. “This growing need and competition to publish more manuscripts has meant that undergrads have increasingly felt the need to seek professional editorial services to enable them to write better manuscripts.”
UNN is a South Korean news portal that focuses on universities with the aim of driving discussions around universities and influencing university cultures. UNN is subscribed to by almost all universities in South Korea.
